For the cameras, it includes 8 8MP 4K resolution MTT81130-V-AISMD motorized 4x zoom IP turret security cameras. AI Smart Motion Detection, Tripwire and Perimeter Protection Solution

Montavue’s AI was designed mainly for creating more accurate tripwires and helping with perimeter protection. SMD (smart motion detection) takes it further and allows for human and vehicle detection across the entire scene that the camera is looking at. Testing shows that AI-enabled cameras can significantly reduce false alarms from small animals, plant movement, shadows, and bright lights. In fact, false notifications for those events are often less that 2%. This means a much higher detection accuracy rate, primarily for people and vehicles (+95%). The reality is that most situations that you would even want a push notification for are when a person or vehicle enters your property or crosses over a perimeter line that they are not supposed to. If you do need notifications for other events you can still use our standard motion detection and IVS features. The AI camera will be able to detect whether a person or a vehicle triggered the alarm, while ignoring the false notifications listed above. These cameras use an advanced predictive algorithm to identify the object based on speed, size, and movement. This will help significantly reduce the impact of the environment that the camera is in (shadows, tree leaves blowing, etc) and help zero in on important alarms. You will also be able to use the “Smart AI Search” feature on your NVR to search through all of your notifications. You will have the option to search for human detection, vehicle detection, or both. Just like Montavue’s normal IVS features you will be able to receive real-time push notifications for all AI triggered events, allowing you to take action quickly

The 8 included MTT81130-V-AISMD 4K IP turret cameras are equipped with the latest 4K resolution image sensors to produce clear images at 4 times the resolution of 1080p cameras. These 4K cameras can record at 8MP resolution in near real-time at 20-30 frames-per-second (FPS). Compare that to the majority of competition, especially at retailers or warehouse clubs, those cameras generally record at 15FPS or less. With such high resolutions, we have built H.265 compression into the camera to reduce storage requirements by up to 50% compared to older H.264 compression. The MTT81130-V-AISMD has an adjustable 31-113º field of view, which covers vast areas with just a single camera, but it is not too wide that it is unfocused. This security camera is equipped with the best light smoothing technology made, including True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Back-Light Control (BLC), High-Light Control (HLC), and 3D Dynamic Noise Reduction technologies. All of these are crucial to producing very clear images in high-contrast lighting day and night.

The MTT81130-V-AISMD turret security camera also features our Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) features. These include tripwire and intrusion. These features will help you maximize the use of your surveillance system and send you alerts when you need them.

30FPS recording at 8MP resolution (20FPS when using AI-SMD) is one feature that sets these cameras apart from the competition. Our camera records near real-time at 30FPS in 8MP 4K resolution resulting in clear video with movement. 4K resolution brings greater details to your video, and allows you to utilize the extra resolution when you need to identify finer details, such as faces and license plates. 8MP 4K resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels vs. 2MP 1920 x 1080 pixels, the more pixels gives you the ability to have further digital zoom, without pixelating the image as much.

The Montavue MTT81130-V-AISMD IP camera is equipped with 16x digital zoom in addition to the optical zoom. This 16 channel NVR allows you to digitally zoom in on the finest details of facial features and license plates from resolutions of 720P to 8MP 4K.

When it comes to simplicity, Montavue has made it so simple that you just need to plug the included Cat5e ethernet cable with each camera into this NVR, and the other end into the camera, wait a minute or two and the camera will be auto recognized and pop up on your screen. The PoE simplicity is perfect, as both power and video are transferred through the same cable. It also gives you flexibility with installation. You can run one single cable from the NVR up to 300ft, and then if you need to go further you can hook a PoE switch up and you can run it an additional 300ft for a total of 600ft. Each one of our Montavue cameras come with a 100ft cat5e cable.

With IP cameras the fun doesn’t stop there. You can bring in cameras to your NVR that are plugged in from around the world as long as they have internet access. This gives you limitless capability, and with the ONVIF compatibility of these cameras (all Montavue cameras are ONVIF compatible which means), you can use them on ONVIF compatible software and recorders. The MTT81130-V-AISMD turret camera is equipped with the latest Starlight night vision with both IR and low light color optics. If it is too dark outside the camera will switch into IR black and white mode, which will still give you clean clear images versus a standard IR camera image. The MTT81130-V-AISMD turret cameras have an impressive built-in audio microphone to record anything going on within about a 30+ft radius of the camera. There is no need to run a separate cable, it all transmits through the same ethernet cable. Audio recording adds another layer of security coverage to your camera by allowing you to match conversations with incidents, break-ins, etc. It also allows you to listen in on things in the area that the camera may not be viewing. This camera is packed with features and is a very affordable solution with audio compared to the competition.

The MNR12163-16 16 channel NVR and MTT81130-V-AISMD surveillance cameras will work flawlessly with our remote monitoring app, MontavueGO. With MontavueGO you can access and control your cameras and surveillance system from around the world with the power of internet and by using our incredibly easy to use application on your mobile device or computer. When using your mobile device simply download the MontavueGO app and scan the QR code on your NVR in order to sync your system to your phone. Now you can view, control cameras, and change the settings on your NVR from anywhere. Live viewing and past recordings are only the start, there are an abundant amount of features, one that we love is push notifications. Set the camera to motion detect, and when something moves in the area you designate, the application will send a push notification to your phone or device.

Along with the MontavueGO app, you can also access your NVR from anywhere in the world using a Windows or Mac web browser once you have the NVR configured with a username and password. You can use an IP address from your NVR or create a custom domain with our free DDNS serivce.

A new feature we have incorporated into our MontavueGO application, is called PC-NVR. This gives you the ability to record video directly to your PC’s hard drive. You will be able to allocate the amount of storage you want the recordings to take up on your hard drive, setup schedules, and set parameters to trigger recording.

With the Montavue 4K NVR’s you are able to record your security footage in four ways, and using a different setting on each camera. First you have continuous recording to your hard drive, this gives you continuous coverage with no gaps, but uses the most hard drive storage. Second, you can schedule the cameras to record only during certain times, for example when you leave for work or away from home. Third, you can set up motion detection and the NVR will only record when the camera senses that motion. This advanced 4K NVR uses a pre-recording function that allows you to record up to 5 seconds before the motion was detected, so you don’t miss the moments before the motion. Lastly, you can use advanced IVS features such as tripwire, intrusion, and more to initiate recording.

All of these settings are individual to each camera, giving you the ability to have some set as continuous in high-traffic areas, and some scheduled, while the rest are motion. This allows you to maximize your storage capacity.

Wide Field of ViewWide Field of View

When it comes to the field of view, these 4K resolution turret IP cameras have a perfectly wide horizontal field of view of 113-31º. A 113° field of view is perfect for monitoring large areas, with good focus and clarity. When placing in a corner you are able to see wall to wall. One thing to check to make sure you are comparing apples to apples between cameras, is the difference between a horizontal and diagonal field of view. Make sure that both are horizontal or diagonal.

The Montavue MNR12163-16 IP camera recording unit comes with a 3TB pre-installed surveillance grade hard drive made by either WD or Seagate. The hard drives we use are specifically designed to function under heavy use. They are designed to write and read constantly, and allow you to view playback at the same time it is recording new footage. If you need additional storage, you can replace the included 3TB SATA hard drive with another SATA HD up to 10TB, and add an additional 10TB in the extra slot.

Montavue NVR’s are pre-programmed to automatically overwrite the oldest footage when the hard drive storage is full. You will never have to go in there to manually delete footage to make room for the new footage coming in.
